They Call Him Bruce
Another terrific day on Trinity Bay with 5 humpback whales, 3 fin whales, a minke whale, bald eagles, puffins, gannets, guillemots and murres. We also made a match with a whale that has been frequenting our area the last three days. This whale was seen on the Silver Banks By Mandy Houston during the winter of 2014 and did not have the Orca rake marks yet. At the time, the animal was thought to be a yearling calf and was still with Mom, they called him Bruce. That would make this whale 7 years old! Thanks Mandy and Cathy McClain Bacon for the information!
